Speaking of Civility

Why is it that apologists all seem to write like they design websites? Just put in a bunch of extra junk words and nonsense to make you look a lot smarter than you actually are. Take this editorial from a Grand Junction newspaper:
Our local cadre of atheists have a Godless goal in mind. Atheists, including The American Gestapo, aka the ACLU, are intellectual hypocrites; their bankrupt worldview has been beaten like a drum on philosophical, historical and even pragmatic grounds. Although their arguments are tired they remain tenacious out of desperation. It’s been almost 50 years since it was determined that atheism actually presupposes and surreptitiously relies on theism to even have the appearance of cogency.
That’s right… apparently (and here’s my newb Atheist tag showing) fifty years ago someone jumped up and said, “Hey! In order to have A-theists, there have to be theists!”, and all of the theists got all excited. Why? I’d love to live in a world where I didn’t have to be an atheist because there were no theists to be the ‘a’ of. Next, they’re going to prove that Christ exists because they found the Anti-Christ.
